Converse CTAS 70's Ox Archive Print Shoes
Picked from the archives, the Converse CTAS 70’s Ox Archive Print Shoes feature an allover cheetah print that sets it up perfectly for wear throughout the summer. The cotton canvas body has been dressed in egret, contrasted by spots of lime surrounded by black detailing. This is matched by a black trim which has been added to the glossed egret midsole. Final minimalist branding includes a ‘license plate’ stamp which is decorated with signature Chuck Taylor branding.
Built with attention to detail in order to replicate the original, classic features such as the rubber toe box offers both durability and traction to flicks. Additionally tread on the outsole ensures greater traction both on the court and on the board. And more modern additions include a cushioned sockliner for improved impact cushioning.
Converse was founded in the early 1900’s, with the Chuck Taylor style having its roots in the 20’s. However by 1970, the design of the Chuck had evolved to the height of function and utility for sport and was considered the best basketball sneaker as well as a fashion icon.
